Optilight provides a rapid response and turnaround for medical laser equipment failure, with a track record of repairing and maintaining medical lasers in the UK for 25 years. We have a prestigious list of clients including private clinics, salons and hospitals. Our preventative maintenance programmes include full inspection and calibration, cleaning and alignment of all internal and external optical systems, the inspection of the flashlamp condition, filters and filter replacement, coolant replenishment and inspection of all safety mechanisms. We refurbish many types of IPL heads and can supply flashlamps, filters and couplers at very competitive prices. Physical damage to the treatment head casing and hosing can usually be undertaken on site as we carry spare parts for most major IPL manufacturers. And replacement parts can be sourced at a fraction of the original manufacturers prices.
Preventative Maintenance
By scheduling periodic maintenance, our Field Service Engineers can ensure that your medical laser investment is maximised. Preventative maintenance is a prudent protection plan for your business, saving you money and downtime. Prevention is better than cure and many problems with laser operation can be identified and corrected before they become serious.
A typical maintenance visit costs in the region of £750. Although this may seem a costly routine expense, compared to the cost of an operational failure and the consequent cancelling and rescheduling of patients, it represents sound business practice. And operationally, scheduled visits are far less intrusive than emergency repairs and can be planned around the day-to-day running of your business.

Alma Preventative Maintenance Options
Optilight can offer a range of new, used, ex-demo & re-conditioned Alma lasers for your clinic.
We also offer a number of flexible service contracts that fit in with you and your clinic. We can also supply parts (including hand-pieces) for many of the systems in the Alma range
Having Optilight maintain your Alma laser system, you will most certainly be increasing the lifespan of your laser and as such increasing your return on investment.

All of our Preventative Maintenance Plans are designed to offer a straightforward solution and value for money.
- A stand-alone service visit includes the cost of the engineer, their travel costs and service consumables, regardless of how long the engineer stays on site – so you don’t have to worry about sky-rocketing costs if the job turns out to take longer than expected.
- We then have a Preventative Maintenance Plan that includes the Annual Service visit plus a discount of parts and hand-pieces and a discount of any further call outs should you ever need one.
- Our most comprehensive Preventative Maintenance Plan includes your Annual Service plus one further call out during the year, together with a larger discount off parts and a discount off any other call-outs needed during the year.
